puasaHoly month of Ramadan is always greeted with  passions by all Muslims throughout the world. How could not, Ramadan is the only month in which all Muslims are commanded to perform fasting for 30 days! But did you know, it was a way to welcome in the various countries got its own uniqueness?

 

1. Egypt

In Egypt, Ramadan is considered the month especially during the year. Each Suhoor, Musaharti will start his work with a drum, sometimes accompanied by chants and cries wake residents. For a few days before Ramadan to before Lebaran, every afternoon the sellers will be  in the streets selling a variety of food to break his fast. Although most of the population of India Hindu, Ramadan greeted with festive celebrations.In Mumbai, the Centre of the celebration can be seen on the streets of Mohammed Ali and Crawford. After the adhaan for Jumu’ah prayer, this area will be populated mostly by people breaking the fast. Don’t be surprised if you see more BMW and Mercedes parked near the food stalls. Muslims and non-Muslims together celebrate without any limitation of class and caste.

Every first day of the month of Ramadan, more than 9000 Muslims gathered at every mosque in Madrid to break the fast together. For Muslims, Ramadan is a month of Spain’s most important where every muslim across Madrid can gather and stay. Main meal breaking the fast is harissa (sweet food) and dates that are usually prepared by women to their friends and relatives who met at the mosque. In Catalonia, Ramadan also became the unifying of Muslims since the mosque was always filled with worshipers. A variety of activities such as classes in Arabic, Islamic history and class discussion of the Qur’an and Hadith have always held from beginning to the end of Ramadan.

For Muslims in Chile, carrying out acts of worship in Ramadan include difficult compared with other countries because the number of Muslims who have very little.
